Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park in Anaheim under a blue sky

Anaheim is on our 2026 calendar for one joyful reason: Disneyland After Dark — Pride Nite, a special evening celebration at Disneyland Park, with family joining us for the occasion.

Our experience

Anaheim is, of course, home to the original Disneyland and the wider Orange County theme-park world, a place built around fun.

We're going for the magic of an after-hours park event in the heart of Southern California's family-vacation capital, the kind of bucket-list night that mixes nostalgia with celebration.

Beyond the parks, Anaheim has grown into a real destination with its own dining and sports scene, but for us this trip is all about that special night.

A little-known fact

Disneyland opened in Anaheim in 1955 as Walt Disney's original theme park — the only Disney park completed and opened during his lifetime.

Our pro tip

For a special ticketed event like Pride Nite, we'd book early — these after-hours events can sell out — and stay within walking distance of the parks to skip parking and traffic.

Wear comfortable shoes, pace yourself, and arrive hydrated; a night at Disneyland covers a lot of ground. Use the Disneyland app for park maps, attraction information and other trip planning tools.

If you're planning additional park time beyond Pride Nite, you can book theme-park tickets on Klook. If you want to stay close enough to walk to the parks, you can check hotels there too.

Try it

Book Disneyland Resort California theme park tickets on Klook.

If you want to stay close enough to walk to the parks, check The Anaheim Hotel on Klook or Disneyland Hotel on Klook.
