Beverly Hills, California

Palm-lined street in Beverly Hills under a clear California sky

Beverly Hills was a glamorous two-night treat in October 2025, when we checked into the boutique Maison 140 for a taste of the good life in 90210.

Our experience

The famous enclave needs little introduction: palm-lined streets, jaw-dropping mansions, the designer storefronts of Rodeo Drive, and a polished, cinematic feel at every turn.

We came to play tourist in the land of celebrity, strolling the manicured streets and soaking up the old-Hollywood elegance.

It's compact and walkable in its commercial core, and an easy, indulgent escape from the desert — a place to dress up a little and enjoy the show that is Beverly Hills.

A little-known fact

Beverly Hills grew into a residential community after early efforts to find oil in the area instead helped reveal valuable water resources. Today, its manicured streets, luxury hotels, and iconic Beverly Hills signage have become symbols of Southern California glamour.

Must-sees and must-dos

  • Rodeo Drive — the world-famous luxury shopping street at the heart of Beverly Hills.
  • Beverly Gardens Park — home to the iconic Beverly Hills sign, gardens, and walking paths.
  • The Beverly Hills Hotel — the legendary "Pink Palace" and its famous Polo Lounge.
  • Greystone Mansion & Gardens — a historic Tudor-style estate with public gardens and a long history as a filming location.
  • Golden Triangle — the walkable shopping, dining, and luxury-hotel core around Rodeo Drive.
  • Celebrity-home drives — cruise the residential streets and hills surrounding Beverly Hills for a glimpse of some of Los Angeles' most famous neighborhoods.

Our pro tip

We found Beverly Hills perfect for a short, indulgent stopover — two nights is plenty to enjoy the core.

Park once and walk the Golden Triangle and Rodeo Drive. You don't have to spend a fortune; window-shopping, the gardens, and a coffee on a sidewalk patio deliver plenty of the Beverly Hills experience.

Try it

For a guided look at the neighborhood, check out a Beverly Hills Segway Tour on Klook, which includes major Beverly Hills landmarks, luxury shopping areas, and celebrity neighborhoods.
